Where will my pets be cared for?

We provide care in your home where your pet family feels most secure, comfortable, and stress free. 


Why choose a pet care provider instead of boarding my pet at a facility?

Animals can become stressed quite easily so, we feel that the best way to alleviate any stress/anxiety is to care for your pet[s] in their own familiar surroundings.


How long are the visits?

Regular visits typically last 30 minutes. We do offer extended visits as well.


Do you provide services on Holidays?

Yes. We are available to you 365 days per year. Please note that holidays are usually our busiest and it is best to submit your booking request in advance. Holiday fees do apply


Is Love Fur Paws licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We will gladly furnish all documents at our free consultation.


Our bond policy is carried by HCC Surety, through Winston & Associates Insurance Brokers, Inc.

We are insured through PetCare Insurance

Is Love Fur Paws Pet First-Aid Certified?

Yes, we are Pet First-Aid certified and we will gladly furnish this documentation at our free consultation.

 

Do you accept short notice reservations?

Yes, but only if you are a current client. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Additional charges may apply.


Do you require that my pet has his/her vaccinations?

We do not require that your pet[s] has their vaccinations in order for us to provide our in-home services to you. However, we do believe that it is very important to have your pet[s] vaccinated. 

*Note: We do require dogs to have their Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella vaccinations for dog walks and dog park visits.


Is there any type of pet that you will not provide care for?

Not at all, we care for all species/breeds of animals.


Can I give a gratuity to my pet care provider?

Absolutely! Gratuity is greatly appreciated. You may offer the gratuity directly to your pet care provider or you may include it in your final payment. 100% of your gratuity goes to your pet care provider.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash & Checks[made payable to Love Fur Paws]


Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we do. For every referral you send our way who becomes a client, you will receive 10% off of your next service.


Do you charge extra for multiple pets?

No, all standard visits are charged by length of time. If more time than the scheduled time slot is needed, we will notify you of this and will not charge you for the first time occurrence. Any visit[s] after we notify you will be charged accordingly. 


What if I need to cancel my reservation?

We ask that you please notify us within 48 hours of the scheduled service date. Otherwise, a cancellation fee will apply.


What will happen if my plans change and I will be away longer than expected?

We will continue to care for your pet[s] until we have received a phone call or e-mail from you confirming that you are home safely. We do ask that you notify us as soon as you can if there is any change of plans.


How are the keys to my home handled?

Client confidentiality is a priority for us. We have a key identification process which alleviates the need for your name and address to be associated with the key.
